Borago officinalis (Starflower)

Originating from the Mediterranean region, an edible herb kknown for its bright blue or white, star-shaped flowers. The leaves and flowers are known to be used for fever, cough, and depression. It's also utilized for addressing a hormonal issue known as adrenal insufficiency, among other uses​​. The plant's tolerance to deer and drought conditions makes it a low-maintenance addition to gardens. Photographed in Bogotá, Colombia where it is always in bloom.
