Allamanda blanchetii (Purple Allamanda)

One of three native Colombian species of the genus Allamanda with a habitat below 7,500 feet. A shrubby vine that blooms year-round and commonly cultivated in tropical and subtropical regions. All parts of the plant are toxic. Photographed in Florida and Barranquilla, Colombia.
