Westringia fruticosa

Native to the coast of eastern Australia, Westringia fruticosa is a dense evergreen shrub of cliffs, dunes, and exposed rocky slopes. Narrow gray-green leaves occur in whorls around the stems. Small white two-lipped flowers are marked with pale mauve or brown dots in the throat and appear among the outer foliage. Photographed in Florida.
