Wercklea woodsonii

Native to Panama, Wercklea woodsonii is a shrub or small tree of wet tropical forest. Large lobed leaves form a leafy crown around the flowers. Each solitary blossom has broad crinkled yellow petals joined into a shallow funnel, with a darker golden throat and a prominent central staminal column. Photographed in Colombia.
