This plant is a climbing shrub native to Colombia in the bellflower family. It occurs in the Andes at elevations of about 4,900 to 12,950 feet. Its leaves can be glossy green above and green to purplish beneath. Flowers have fuchsia corollas and dark anthers, with green to purplish calyces around their bases. Photographed in Colombia.
