Siphocampylus (species unidentified)

This flowering plant belongs to Siphocampylus, a genus native to tropical America in the Campanulaceae family. The photographed flowers have elongated red tubes that curve slightly and split into narrow, pointed lobes. Pale reproductive structures project beyond the corolla, ending in light green stigmas above darker anthers. The flowers are surrounded by dense green vegetation. Photographed in Colombia.
