Santa Marta

A small port and tourist city of less than 500,000. It is 70 minutes east of Barranquilla. The climate averages 91 in the day and 75 at night. There is a five month dry season and the city only receives 21 inches of rain per year due to the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta to the south.
