Rhaphiolepis umbellata (Indian Hawthorn)


Rhaphiolepis umbellata is an evergreen shrub in the Rosaceae family, native to eastern Asia. It grows slowly into a rounded plant, reaching about 5 feet in height and spread. Its broadly oval leaves are leathery and dark green. Fragrant white flowers form branching clusters at the ends of the shoots, followed by small, fleshy black fruits.
