A large vine native to Eastern Asia, the Japanese Honeysuckle, has established its presence significantly beyond its native boundaries. and has naturalized in many regions. However, despite its invasive nature, the sweetly fragrant white and yellow flowers is a very popular ornamental plant in many areas. The Japanese Honeysuckle carries a rich medicinal value attributed to its diverse chemical composition. Moreover, the essential oils found in Japanese Honeysuckle are sometimes utilized in aromatherapy.
