Iris domestica has an open orange-red six-segmented flower with darker spots and yellow central stamens beside green leaves

Iris domestica (Blackberry Lily)

Native to Asia, blackberry lily is a rhizomatous perennial. Upright, sword-shaped leaves grow in flattened fans. Slender flowering stems carry sprays of orange to reddish flowers with six spreading segments, usually marked by darker red spots. Greenish capsules split to reveal shiny black seeds in clusters resembling blackberries. Its rhizomes are poisonous if eaten, and the sap can irritate skin. Photographed in Colombia.
