Geissanthus bogotensis

Native to Colombia and Ecuador, this is a tree in the Primulaceae family. One of twenty-eight native species of the genus Geissanthus in Colomiba with a habitat between 5,000 and 10,000 feet. A tree photographed in Bogotá, Colombia.
