Two white Brunfelsia undulata flowers with five rounded petals each, blooming among glossy green lance-shaped leaves
Brunfelsia undulata

Native to Jamaica, this evergreen shrub belongs to the Solanaceae family and is known for its elegant, star-shaped flowers and glossy, lanceolate foliage. It typically grows between 6 and 8 feet tall, forming an upright to slightly spreading habit. The flowers are tubular at the base, opening into five rounded lobes that create a pinwheel-like appearance. They are pure white when fresh, occasionally with a creamy tinge, and emit a pleasant fragrance, particularly in the evening, which helps attract night-pollinating moths. Photographed in Florida.
