Aloe dyeri has glossy red tubular flowers and upright buds on branching flower stalks

Aloe dyeri

Native to Mpumalanga in South Africa and western Eswatini, this succulent perennial usually forms a solitary rosette with little or no visible stem. Its flowering stalk can reach about 5 to 6 feet tall and branches repeatedly into loosely arranged clusters of glossy brick-red tubular flowers. The flowers are slightly club-shaped above a constricted base. It grows among long grass, trees and bushes on rocky slopes, often in places sheltered from the strongest afternoon sun. Photographed in Florida.
