Native to Mexico to Bolivia, this is an herbaceous plant in the Asteraceae family. The creeping spot-flower can bloom year-round in Florida. Its flowers, featuring between five and twenty yellow rays encircling an orange disc, are a popular nectar source for bees and butterflies. Photographed in Bogotá, Colombia.
