Dioclea virgata
Dioclea virgata is a climbing legume native to tropical regions of Central and South America. The flowers of Dioclea virgata are borne in elongated racemes and display a vivid violet hue with a structure characteristic of legumes, including a broad standard petal and smaller wing and keel petals. Photographed in Panama.
