Tephrosia vogelli
A shrub that originates from tropical Africa and has been utilized in tropical America as well as South and Southeast Asia. Its utility is multifaceted, serving as an organic pesticide, improving soil fertility, and providing medicinal benefits against skin diseases and internal worms. Its leaves, which contain a variety of bioactive compounds, are processed into a juice for tick control on livestock, an application especially valuable in regions where veterinary services are scarce.
