Yucca aloifolia

Native to the southeastern United States, Mexico, and parts of the Caribbean, Yucca aloifolia is an evergreen trunk-forming shrub with dense rosettes of rigid sword-shaped leaves. Mature stems produce tall terminal panicles of pendent cream-white bell-shaped flowers. The leaves end in sharp points and persist around the crown. Photographed in Colombia.
