Viola × wittrockiana ‘Matrix Yellow Blotch’

Viola × wittrockiana ‘Matrix Yellow Blotch’ is a compact garden pansy cultivar with a low mound of scalloped green leaves. Large rounded yellow petals surround a sharply contrasting dark central blotch. The lower petal bears fine lines leading toward the small golden center, while overlapping upper petals create the flower’s broad face. Photographed in Florida.
