Tricyrtis 'Sinonome'

Tricyrtis ‘Sinonome’ is a hybrid herbaceous perennial derived from Tricyrtis hirta and Tricyrtis formosana. Upright to arching stems carry clasping green leaves and terminal clusters of intricate flowers. Six pale tepals are heavily spotted and blotched with burgundy-purple around a projecting, equally patterned central column. The clumps spread gradually by rhizomes. Photographed in Virginia.
