Stigmaphyllon emarginatum

Native to the Caribbean, Stigmaphyllon emarginatum is a scrambling woody plant of wet tropical vegetation. Branched clusters carry numerous bright yellow flowers with five unequal, crinkled petals surrounding reddish central structures. The stems bear broad opposite leaves and climb through nearby shrubs or trail over supporting vegetation. Photographed in Florida.
