Spathoglottis kimballiana

A terrestrial orchid native to Southeast Asia, Spathoglottis kimballiana grows from clustered pseudobulbs with long, prominently pleated green leaves. Upright green flower stalks carry several large yellow flowers, each with broad spreading segments and a smaller patterned lip. The flowers open successively above the dense basal foliage.
