Salvia libanensis

This plant is a shrub native to Colombia, where it occurs in the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta at elevations of about 6,000 to 8,200 feet. It belongs to the mint family and grows in wet tropical habitats. Its red flowers have elongated, two-lipped corollas roughly two to two and a half inches long.
