Salvia microphylla

Salvia microphylla is an aromatic evergreen or semi-evergreen shrub native to the southwestern United States and Mexico. Its many fine branches carry small ovate leaves and paired two-lipped flowers in shades of red, pink, or magenta. Rounded calyces remain along the stems after individual blossoms fall.
