Roupala montana

Native to Argentina Northeast, Belize, Bolivia, northeastern Brazil, northern Brazil, and southeastern Brazil and nearby regions, this is a shrub in the Proteaceae family. One of eight native Colombian species of the genus Roupala with a habitat between 300 and 9,000 feet. Photographed in the eastern Andes mountain range of Colombia.
