Rotheca myricoides (Blue Butterfly Bush)


Native to Angola, Botswana, Burundi, Caprivi Strip, DR Congo, and Djibouti and nearby regions, this is a vine in the Lamiaceae family. Its blue to violet flowers resemble butterflies, and it is grown as an ornamental in subtropical and tropical climates. Photographed in Florida.
