Rogiera amoena is a shrub or small tree native from southern Mexico to Panama. Its opposite leaves have prominent veins and hairs beneath. Rounded flower clusters develop at branch tips. The tubular corollas are white to pink, with five spreading lobes and yellow hairs around the throat. Rounded capsules split open after flowering. The species grows in humid forest.
