Richardia grandiflora

Richardia grandiflora is a low perennial herb native to South America and naturalized in many warm regions. Opposite leaves spread along prostrate stems that root or branch across open ground. Clusters of pale lavender funnel-shaped flowers have six pointed lobes and small yellow centers. The species thrives in sunny lawns, roadsides, sandy soil, and other frequently disturbed sites.
