Rhabdadenia biflora

This plant is a woody climbing vine in the Apocynaceae family, native from southern Florida through tropical America. It grows along the edges of mangrove swamps and in other wet forests. Slender branches bear opposite, oval to oblong leaves with smooth edges. White, funnel-shaped flowers have five spreading lobes and develop in small clusters. Paired, elongated seed pods release seeds with tufts of hair. Photographed in Sucre, Colombia.
