Portlandia platantha × Portlandia proctorii

A cultivated interspecific hybrid between two Jamaican woody plants, Portlandia platantha × Portlandia proctorii combines the large tubular flowers characteristic of both parents. The broad pink corolla tube opens into five thick rounded lobes, with a pale central style and clustered anthers. Its parent species are native to tropical limestone habitats in Jamaica.
