Plectranthus (Mona Lavender)
Mona Lavender is a popular hybrid plant developed in South Africa by Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens. It has gained popularity in gardens due to its vibrant floral displays. Reaching a height of around 1 to 2 feet with a spreading habit. Mona Lavender produces spikes of lavender-purple flowers that flower throughout the year in mild climates. It thrives best in partial shade, where it displays optimal leaf color and flower production. It has won the Royal Horticultural Society’s Award of Garden Merit. Photographed in Armenia, Colombia.
