Phragmipedium schlimii
A terrestrial or lithophytic slipper orchid native to the northern Andes of Colombia and Ecuador, Phragmipedium schlimii grows in wet mountain habitats, frequently near streams and waterfalls. Its flower has broad pale pink petals, a pouch-shaped lip washed with deeper rose, and a white-and-yellow center marked with magenta. The species usually forms clumps of narrow arching leaves.
