Magnolia grandiflora (Southern Magnolia)
A tree originating from the southeastern United States, the Southern Magnolia is well-regarded for its large, white, fragrant flowers that bloom from April to June, with their fleshy conelike fruit maturing from September through late fall. The seeds within this fruit are primarily dispersed by birds and mammals. It flourishes in warm temperate to semitropical climates. The wood being used commercially, marketed as magnolia lumber.
