Lycaste schilleriana × macrobulbon

Of cultivated hybrid origin, this orchid is registered as Lycaste Agnette. It combines two tropical American species and grows from prominent pseudobulbs that carry large, pleated leaves. Flowers arise individually on stalks from the base of the growths, so several can surround a mature plant. Three spreading sepals frame two smaller petals and a distinctive lip.
