Kohleria spicata
Originating in the diverse ecosystems of Central and South America, this species is widely distributed, thriving in a range of habitats from seaside locales to mountainous forests in the wet tropical biome. There are numerous hybrids and cultivars offering a variety of color, size, and leaf variation. Photographed in the central Andes mountain range of Colombia.
