Kalanchoe pumila

Native to east-central Madagascar, it is an evergreen succulent subshrub with arching stems. Its powdery-white leaves give the plant its distinctive silvery appearance, while clusters of pink flowers have darker purple lines. The Royal Horticultural Society awarded it the Award of Garden Merit. All parts are poisonous to people and pets if eaten. Photographed in Quito, Ecuador.
