Kalanchoe Calandiva has dense clusters of red double flowers with pale centers above glossy scalloped green leaves

Kalanchoe Calandiva (Flaming Katy)

Calandiva is an ornamental kalanchoe series distinguished by its dense, double flowers that resemble miniature roses. Developed from a natural mutation discovered in 2002, it has been bred into a wide range of vivid colors, pastel shades, and bicolored forms. The compact plants branch readily and carry clustered blooms above succulent foliage. Their long-lasting flowers make them popular as indoor flowering plants and container displays. Like other succulent ornamentals, established plants require modest watering and benefit from conditions that prevent prolonged wetness around the roots. Photographed in Florida.
