Guzmania 'Deborah'
An ornamental cultivar of tropical American bromeliads, Deborah is grown for its tall pink-and-white flowering display. Smooth-edged, green, strap-shaped leaves spread from a central rosette. The upright inflorescence carries conspicuous pale bracts tinged with pink, extending the color above the foliage. These showy bracts surround the smaller flowers and provide much of the display. Like other cultivated guzmanias, the plant produces offsets around its base as the flowering rosette completes its life cycle. Photographed in Florida.
