Goudaea ospinae
Endemic to Colombia, it is an epiphytic bromeliad that grows on trees in wet tropical habitats of the Andes and Orinoquia. Its leaves form a rosette, and the flattened flower spikes have overlapping, keeled yellow bracts. The yellow flowers are tubular and extend beyond these bracts. It is classified as Vulnerable on Colombia’s National Red List. Photographed in the department of QuindĂo, Colombia.
