Guazuma ulmifolia
Originating in the regions spanning from Mexico to Tropical America, the species is often found in seasonally dry tropical biomes. It's recognized for its environmental and social utility, including its use as animal food, medicine, invertebrate food, and for fuel and food purposes. Its foliage serves as a source of fodder for livestock. The leaves and fruits of this tree are fed to cattle, primarily during the dry season. Photographed in the department of Atlantico, Colombia.
