Erythrina variegata (Indian Coral Tree)
Native to the tropical and subtropical regions of eastern Africa, the Indian subcontinent, and northern Australia. It is a large ornamental tree. Its foliage serves as nutritious fodder for livestock, while its seeds, though poisonous in their raw state, can be cooked and consumed. Photographed in Barranquilla, Colombia.
