Cycas revoluta (Sago Palm)
Indigenous to the Ryukyu Islands of Japan. It exhibits a slow-growing, palm-like appearance, though it is not a true palm. This species typically reaches heights of 6 to 10 feet. The plant’s reproductive structures are in the form of cones, with male and female cones produced on separate plants. Photographed in Armenia, Colombia.
