Conium maculatum (Poison Hemlock)
Native to Europe and parts of Asia, and naturalized in many parts of the world. Every part of the plant contains a mix of alkaloids, including coniine, which can be lethal to humans and animals when ingested. Historically, it's infamously known for its use in ancient Greece as a means of execution; Socrates met his end by consuming a drink made from its extracts. a single bite can lead to severe poisoning.
