Commelina diffusa

Native to Andaman Is., Angola, Assam, Bangladesh, Benin, and Bismarck Archipelago and nearby regions, it is an herbaceous plant in the Commelinaceae family. Documented elevations extend from about 390 to 8,350 feet. It grows on non-woody stems and produces blue flowers among or above the foliage. Photographed in Colombia.
