Combretum coccineum
Combretum coccineum, is native to Madagascar. It is a climbing shrub. The flowers are borne in dense, elongated clusters, each composed of numerous scarlet tubular blooms that create a fiery effect against the backdrop of dark green foliage. Each flower has prominent red protruding stamens. Photographed in Florida.
