The historic walled city is a UNESCO World Heritage Site with colonial architecture, picturesque plazas, and streets lined with colorful houses, ornate balconies, and grand churches such as the Cartagena Cathedral and the Church of San Pedro Claver. A drop-off point for cruise ships. A casual walk inside the colonial Walled City where there are good restaurants, shops, and photographic opportunities can take all day and is worth the visit.
