Originating from the regions stretching from northwest Venezuela to Ecuador, Cleome anomala finds its habitat primarily within the wet tropical biome with a habitat between 5,000 and 11,000 feet, taking on the form of a shrub​. Photographed in the Eastern Andes of Colombia.
