Brunfelsia americana (Lady of the Night)
Hailing from Brazil, the shrub has creamy white to off-white blooms that are fragrant in the evening. Known to be astringent, the fruit has been utilized traditionally as a tonic to alleviate chronic diarrhea and stomach ailments. Photographed in Barranquilla, Colombia.
