A small Brugmansia tree full of light pink flower
Brugmansia insignis (Angel's Trumpet)

A small tree originating in the regions of Bolivia, Colombia, and Peru. The striking feature of this species lies in its large, fragrant flowers which not only serve as a visual delight but also hold a unique shape akin to trumpets, hence the common name. These flowers boast a long corolla at the edge measuring 1.2 to 2.4 inches, and a very narrow, extra-long tubular extension at the base of the flower corolla. Photographed in Colombia.
