Colorful Breynia disticha leaves in colors of red, pink, cream and green
Breynia disticha (Snow Bush)
Native to the Pacific islands of New Caledonia and Vanuatu, this tropical darling has found its home in a variety of tropical locales. Adored for its red zigzag stems and variegated foliage, it's a common choice for creating hedges in tropical climates, growing typically between 2 to 4 feet tall. The foliage is a spectacle all year round in frost-free climates, with its leaves displaying a motley of green, liberally spotted with white. Some cultivars even sport leaves mottled with shades of pink, red, and purple, adding to its ornamental appeal. The flowers are inconspicuous followed by small berries. Photographed in Armenia, Colombia.
