Bomarea formosissima
Bomarea formosissima is native to Peru and Bolivia. This perennial climbing plant thrives in high-elevation cloud forests. It is characterized by its dense, drooping umbels of tubular flowers, each with red outer surfaces and contrasting orange to yellow interiors. Photographed in Peru.
